1. Compilation Basis and Objectives: The textbook "Outline of the 14th Five-year Plan of People's Republic of China (PRC)" was compiled according to the Outline of the 14th Five-year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline of the Long-term Goals in 2035, and the Outline of the Healthy China 2030 Plan, aiming at comprehensively promoting the construction of a healthy China, implementing the national strategy of actively coping with the aging population, accelerating the implementation of the Healthy China Action, and deepening the reform of the medical and health system. The planning textbooks of the National Health and Wellness Committee are compiled according to the responsibilities and priorities of the National Health and Wellness Committee, aiming at adapting to the new situation and new requirements of the development of higher medical continuing education in China, ensuring the high-quality compilation and publication of the planning textbooks of higher medical continuing education, promoting the reform and innovation of the curriculum system and textbook system of higher medical continuing education, and making contributions to comprehensively improving the level of medical education and the quality of personnel training in China.
2. Content scope and structure: The textbook of the Tenth Five-Year Plan covers five aspects: public health, disease prevention and control, medical and health services, medical and health security, and national health policy, and is divided into 16 topics. The textbooks planned by the National Health and Wellness Committee cover the basic theories, basic skills and professional knowledge of clinical medicine, nursing and other majors, which are divided into 36 varieties.
3. Object and method of use: China's "14 th Five-Year Plan" textbooks are mainly aimed at people from all walks of life, especially health workers and managers, as well as teachers and students of related majors, and can be used as reference materials, training materials or self-study books. The textbooks planned by the National Health and Wellness Committee are mainly aimed at the staff and learners of continuing education (clinical medicine and nursing) with higher education in China, and can be used as necessary books for classroom teaching, autonomous learning or examination review.
