Hebei Administration College and Hebei Management Cadre College are institutions of higher learning directly under the Hebei provincial government. Shijiazhuang Management Cadre College of the former Ministry of Chemical Industry,1July, 1998, was placed under the management of Hebei and reorganized. Hebei Administration College mainly undertakes the task of training civil servants in the province, and Hebei Management Cadre College continues to undertake higher education. College is an institution of higher learning with liberal arts, engineering and management as its main disciplines. 1992 and 1997 were twice rated as "Class A schools" by the State Education Commission.
