Brief introduction of Gansu Institute of Architecture and Technology;
Gansu Vocational and Technical College of Architecture is the only architectural institution of higher learning approved by Gansu Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. The school was founded in 1958, and was originally affiliated to Gansu Provincial Construction Engineering Corporation. 200 1 Gansu Institute of Construction Workers' Engineering, Gansu Institute of Construction Engineering and Gansu Vocational School of Construction Workers merged to form Gansu Institute of Construction Technology. In 2004, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Construction as a national pilot university for training architectural skilled talents. At the end of 2008, it successfully passed the evaluation of talent training level of the Ministry of Education.
The college has the 8th1professional skill appraisal institute in China. We have established the national training base for project managers of construction enterprises, the training base for continuing education of construction workers, the training base for business administration of construction and real estate enterprises in Gansu Province, the continuing education base for professional and technical personnel in Gansu Province, the amateur school for migrant workers in construction enterprises in Gansu Province, the overseas labor training center in Gansu Province, the training base for special operations of construction enterprises in Gansu Province, the training base for technical workers in construction enterprises in Gansu Province, and the paperless examination base for professionals in construction sites of construction and municipal engineering in Gansu Province.
