In order to implement the Outline of Medium-and Long-term Education Planning in Jiangsu Province and the opinions of the provincial government on further strengthening the construction of educational talents, according to the Regulations on Continuing Education of Professional and Technical Personnel in Jiangsu Province, the Rules for Continuing Education of Teachers in Colleges and Universities in Jiangsu Province, the Requirements for Professional and Technical Qualifications of Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges in Jiangsu Province, the Measures for the Administration of Recognition and Registration of Teacher Training Hours in Jiangsu Province and the Provisions on Continuing Education of Teachers in Xuzhou Preschool Teachers College (Provisional).

First, the main forms of teacher training

(a) Attending refresher courses, training courses or seminars;

(two) to practice in kindergartens and other training bases, special research;

(3) Attending academic conferences and lectures at home and abroad;

(4) Going abroad for further study, inspection and training;

(five) study organized by the unit and self-study with assessment;

(6) receiving modern distance education;

(seven) other forms of continuing education.

Second, teacher training is organized and implemented at different levels according to the principles of overall planning, on-demand training, focusing on practical results and reform and innovation, mainly including school-based training, county-level training, municipal training, provincial training and national-level training, which is determined according to the level of the education administrative department of the training institution.

Three, teacher training in five years as a cycle, the total hours of not less than 360 hours (not less than 72 hours a year), of which the training hours at or above the county level are not less than 180 hours.

New teachers' pre-job training hours shall be registered separately, and the training time shall be 1 year 120 hours. If individual training hours are insufficient, it shall be deemed that the training hours have not been completed within the period.

Four, encourage teachers to improve their academic qualifications through on-the-job learning, full-time learning, distance education, self-study exams, master's and doctoral studies. Those who completed 1 or above courses and passed the examination in that year shall be deemed to have completed 36 hours of training at or above the county level in that year with the certificate of completion of single course.

Five, teachers through writing papers, participating in research, publishing educational monographs, technological inventions and other forms to carry out educational and scientific research activities and achieve results, whether the training hours are determined by the municipal education administrative department. If the hours are recognized, the total hours shall not exceed half of the average annual training hours at or above the county level.

Sixth, encourage excellent teachers to demonstrate and lead.

(a) to participate in school-based training teaching, to determine the corresponding school-based training time. Participate in training courses at or above the county level, and participate in training at or above the county level for 6 hours every academic year, which will be recognized. According to the calculation, the maximum is 18 class hours.

(2) Open classes and demonstration classes at or above the county level are held once each, and the training at or above the county level is recognized as 6 hours. According to the calculation, the maximum is 18 class hours.

(3) Those who won a single prize in excellent courses, basic teaching skills, skill competitions, information-based teaching competitions and other teacher competitions organized by the education administrative departments at or above the county level shall be deemed as training at or above the county level 18 class hours in that year.

Items (2) and (3) shall not be calculated twice.

Seven, unable to participate in the training for some reason, must submit a leave of absence approved by the unit. One-third or one-quarter or more of each course (project) is absent from class (including leave), and those who fail the training assessment will not be registered.

Eight, because of maternity leave, sick leave and other special reasons really can't participate in the training of teachers, shall be issued by the school and its education administrative departments at or above the county level or medical units to prove, reported to the corresponding training departments or institutions for the year exemption procedures. The total class hours of the five-year cycle should still meet the corresponding requirements.

Nine, teachers complete training hours is a necessary condition and an important basis for teacher assessment, job appointment, and regular registration of teacher qualification certificates. Those who fail to complete the required training hours shall be regarded as unqualified in continuing education, and shall not be evaluated and promoted to professional and technical positions. New teachers who have not completed the required on-the-job training hours shall not be transferred and graded.
