First of all, I would like to thank the two class teachers for creating such a good learning environment for the children. The children walked into the first-grade classroom from kindergarten, and their strange and curious feelings were intertwined. Seeing the teachers' kind smiling faces and warm classroom layout, the children quickly recognized the primary school life psychologically. It is very happy to walk into the classroom with joy and expectation every day. First of all, I have established a positive learning attitude. This is the efforts made by schools and teachers for children. Our parents feel the same way, which is very gratifying.
Secondly, I want to sum up some changes in children's learning this year:
1, the cultivation of good life and study habits.
Compared with academic performance, in the lower grade stage like Grade One, I think the cultivation of life and study habits is more important. Good self-care ability is the foundation of practical learning. Conversely, correct study habits can also ensure the formation of regular living habits. At the beginning of the last semester of Senior One, we asked our children to finish the homework assigned by the school before dinner. The first grade is all oral homework, so the burden is not very heavy. The child can finish it in this time. Over time, she developed this awareness and sat at her desk after a short rest at home. Then after dinner, there is enough time to read extracurricular books and practice calligraphy and piano, and arrange them randomly. Don't worry. For a time, children were also lazy in their studies. Suddenly, they fell in love with handicrafts. When they got home, they couldn't help folding paper with great interest. The parents' first reaction was to be angry, but they found that the accusation had side effects. They hurried through today's homework and inevitably did it again the next day. So I sat down to discuss, if I can finish school homework within the specified time, I will arrange some extra time for my children to do manual work happily. Sure enough, the efficiency of homework was very high, and I had a good time. Looking back on the children's study habits this year, they are generally satisfied, which is a great progress in their first-year study and life.
2. The cultivation of self-motivation.
If a child does not attach importance to learning, but only studies under the urging of teachers and parents, and is not interested in hobbies and class activities, then this child needs to cultivate self-motivation in particular. In fact, a math expert once said: if a child's self-motivation is strong and can be maintained all the time, then even if his IQ is not enough, he can achieve remarkable results; But if a child is smart, but lacks self-motivation, then his life is doomed to be busy and inaction. It can be seen that self-motivation is a magic weapon for school-age children. In fact, in primary school, most children are motivated. They will be very concerned about their performance being affirmed by others and like to be appreciated and praised. However, this self-motivation is very fragile. If they often suffer setbacks, their self-motivation will drop sharply. Looking back on this year's study, children have tasted the joy of being affirmed and inevitably encountered the frustration of being denied. There is an obvious example. Learning piano is really boring for active children of this age, because they haven't fully enjoyed the music spiritual enlightenment. As parents, their single-minded urging and urging inspired their children's rebellious psychology, and they reached a bottleneck on the way to learning piano, and they did not feel positive happiness, and their children's self-motivation to learn piano was erased. But do children really dislike music? No, she likes singing, listening to music, and humming little songs from time to time, so I'm thinking about how to change my mind to protect her self-motivation in learning. In the process of learning calligraphy, I deliberately slowed down and let her ponder in the study. When the child concentrated on writing beautiful fonts, I gave her a surprised look, and then told her how everyone used to write freely and lead a dissolute life in ancient calligraphy. A small beam of envy in a child's eyes may inspire a flame inspired by myself. Similarly, in the school curriculum, I also found that too much participation and artificial pressure actually suppressed children's initiative. For example, oral arithmetic is an important task this semester. When I started to calculate the time, my child had problems with speed and accuracy, and I was worried. So I started training in hell. Two days of practice has put pressure on my child. Obviously, she is a little nervous and has made many mistakes. I think my attitude has influenced my child, so I stopped in time and let her practice by herself, regularly but without emphasizing mistakes. Slowly, her speed came up and the correct rate reached the standard. Perhaps it is the best policy to let children learn by themselves, with proper guidance and guidance. Neither children nor parents will have too much pressure. Children have their own goals to restrain themselves, which is not only the teacher's requirement, but also the example strength of outstanding students in the same class. Every child is self-motivated, and it is far more important for us as parents to protect our children's self-motivation than to go into battle in person. Giving children the right to grow up "slowly" may actually create their "rapid" growth, which is my experience this school year. Every teaching by educators in parents' school and the introduction of parents' experience of excellent students by parents' meeting in this class remind us that excellent children must have a pair of smart parents, so parents have a long way to go in their studies. After graduating from the first-grade parent school, we will continue to study.
