Just after the first management class, I was deeply impressed by five sentences given by Mr. Wang: "Direction is more important than hard work, ability is more important than knowledge, health is more important than achievement, life is more important than diploma, and emotional intelligence is more important than IQ-President of Tsinghua University in Taiwan Province Province." The teacher explained these five sentences in detail. I listened to that class carefully and was fascinated, because the teacher spoke so well that many words came to our hearts, which caused me to think a lot, reflect on the university in the past two years and re-plan my university life in the next two years. I have been interested in this course since the first management class. From textbook knowledge to I Want My University in Post-College Entrance Examination Era, Working Emperor-Tang Jun, Time Guanghua Management Course-Yu Shixiong, and then to Winning in China, I feel that my knowledge has been broadened and I have learned a lot from this semester. Let's talk about my experience in learning this course in detail.
Management plays an irreplaceable role in modern society. In the real society, people live in various organizations, such as factories, schools, hospitals, the army, companies and so on. People depend on organization, which is the basic form of human existence and activities. Without organization, it is impossible to conquer nature and achieve anything by individual strength; Without organization, there would be no development and prosperity of human society today. Organization is the source of human power to conquer nature and the main factor for all human achievements. However, organization alone is not enough, because human society must have crowd activities and crowd activities must be managed. With management, organizations can carry out normal and effective activities. In short, management is a necessary condition to ensure the effective operation of the organization. I think there is no fixed model for effective management. The first thing to be put in the first place must be reality. There are many management options for different situations and different purposes. It is not easy for us to choose the most effective, economical or easy method. Therefore, we must first define a core and essential goal. For enterprise management, that is to make the least investment get the maximum return. I think work and people are two important parts of management.
The first is about work. All enterprises are formed by countless people holding countless positions, so all enterprises have certain organizational structure and working methods. At the same time, people in each position, whether managers, technicians or workers, need to complete their work within a certain plan, which are the contents that need to be designed and planned before the operation of the enterprise. Therefore, the primary task of management is to arrange the structure and content of these tasks. From the perspective of work alone, if the organizational structure of an enterprise is the most reasonable and scientific, and everyone's work in the enterprise is the most appropriate and accurate, then the enterprise can get the maximum return with the least investment. In reality, this is impossible, because we can never find a perfect way to work, and the actual situation is changing, and the realistic requirements are constantly changing. To be "perfect", it is necessary to constantly change, which is also extremely unrealistic for managers. Therefore, management scientists are only committed to improving work efficiency, rather than seeking a kind of "perfection". In this regard, the scientific management thought that appeared at the beginning of the 20th century has made great achievements. Taylor's scientific management thought includes determining reasonable working standards, standardizing working methods, rationally distributing workers, implementing differential piece-rate wage system and implementing functional foreman system. These theories themselves play a great role in effective management, and at the same time make people pay more attention to the scientific design and transformation of work, thus improving efficiency. Every manager should get more essential content from scientific management thought, that is, through scientific and effective management, continuously improve people's work efficiency.
Taylor just made a start for people in this respect. Later managers need to give full play to their creativity, face all kinds of situations, scientifically and reasonably design organizational structure and working methods, so as to maximize efficiency. This is a part of the work, of course, not only scientific management ideas have a positive effect on it, but also the ultimate goal is to maximize efficiency by adjusting the work. The first part is undoubtedly the most important part of management, but without the second part, the first part will undoubtedly be greatly discounted.
The second part is about people. If the design and adjustment of work is relatively fixed and rigid, then people's work is full of elastic and uncertain factors. Because people and work tools are different, various psychological and physiological factors will affect people's work efficiency. If you want to improve your work efficiency, you can't ignore your concern for people. If not, the effect will be greatly reduced simply by improving the first aspect. If we ignore the concern for people for a long time, it will have a more negative impact. For people, what managers should do is to maximize people's work efficiency, which requires people to have great enthusiasm for their work, and all work factors are conducive to people's maximum work efficiency. Working environment, interpersonal relationship and humanistic atmosphere are all important. In this respect, Mayo's interpersonal relationship management is a pioneer in this field. Through the famous Hawthorne experiment, he put forward new concepts different from scientific management, including social man hypothesis, morale and informal organization. Mayo's theory makes people pay attention to people in their work. A harmonious and pleasant working environment, a group of harmonious and competitive workers and a positive working atmosphere will greatly exceed the normal working environment. This aspect is obviously different from work, full of great flexibility and changes, and has higher requirements for managers. Different types of managers may create completely different working environments, even excellent managers. There is no specific standard for a good working environment, as long as it can better promote people's work. Managers need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to do a good job of people, which is also quite difficult. Generally speaking, for people, although it is not as important as work, its role may be more significant, and it will also bring some contents that can not be brought by improvement work to an enterprise.
I think the management in an enterprise can be roughly divided into two aspects, the work and the people. The five aspects of planning, organization, control, encouragement and leadership included in management can all be included in these two specific tasks. Management is an art, which requires managers to have various abilities. At the same time, their specific operation methods are not restricted and bound, and they need good creativity.
In addition, I want to talk about how to build an efficient team, which is one of the lecture videos of Yu Shiwei played by the teacher. His methodical narration made me understand the difference between group and team, the characteristics of team autonomy, thinking and cooperation, and many problems of reflection. Team spirit is constantly cultivated and standardized from life and education. The study found that team spirit was not cultivated since childhood, and even after daily training, the effect was not very satisfactory. Because people's minds are cultivated from childhood, it is actually very difficult to cultivate team spirit when they grow up if they don't pay attention to it when they are young. Professor Yu Shiwei's words make me feel that children in China lack the necessary team spirit compared with children abroad, and there are many examples in real life to prove it. This can also tell us that we should pay attention to cultivating students' team consciousness in primary and secondary education, which is of great significance for our next generation to carry forward the spirit of unity and cooperation under the background of transition to market economy and participation in international competition. Only with this "team spirit" can we prosper in the fierce competition.
Team spirit is also very important for a successful enterprise. Let the group be spontaneous, as a leader, and understand the talents and abilities of each employee when forming a team, so as to be knowledgeable and responsible; There is a famous saying in human resource management that there is no "mediocre person", only "mediocre management". Everyone always has strengths, and smart managers are good at finding valuable things from every ordinary employee and guiding and developing them. Respected enterprises, the mechanism for employees to learn and improve constantly, etc.
In today's information age, there is no "lone ranger", and team spirit plays an increasingly important role in enterprise competition and development. It is imperative to strengthen the play of team spirit in enterprises. Whoever does well in the front will be the winner. This requires the joint efforts of enterprises and employees. Enterprises must understand the truth that "one chopstick is gently broken, and ten pairs of chopsticks are firmly held together", and employees must understand the meaning of "a big river has water and a small river is dry". Therefore, soft management and hard measures complement each other and effectively stimulate the team spirit of enterprise employees.
Team spirit is very important for both individuals and groups. Only when everyone in the group has a strong team spirit can the team spirit of this group be formed.
Learning management, I think, is not only the subject content of learning management itself, but also a subject that needs to think, study and find problems by itself. We should improve ourselves from other aspects, find problems in practice and study them. In this process, I feel that my ability to think independently has been greatly exercised, which is also the biggest gain of my management course this semester. In order to further study, I also chose management psychology next semester, hoping that my knowledge in management can be further consolidated through study.
Chapter 2: Learning experience of basic management knowledge.
Through the study of "Fundamentals of Management" during this time, I have some personal experience. Management is a process of effectively planning, organizing, leading and controlling the resources owned by an organization in order to achieve the established organizational goals in a specific environment. As a contemporary college student, especially a student majoring in economic management, I think management is closely related to us. Management is the foundation of all organizations, and management is applicable to organizations of all sizes; For-profit and non-profit enterprises and institutions, manufacturing and service industries; Therefore, learning management well is of great significance to our current student work, and even to stepping into a complex society and adapting to different jobs in the future.
Since people began to form groups to achieve goals that individuals could not achieve, management has become an essential factor in coordinating individual efforts. The purpose of forming a group is nothing more than gathering the strength of individuals to play a greater role of the collective. This group is actually a common "organization" phenomenon in human society. The so-called organization is an organic whole composed of two or more individuals to achieve the same goal. Organization is a collection of people, and members of the organization must cooperate with each other in a certain way to achieve the established long-term organizational goals. Only in this way can an organization form a whole force to complete all activities that cannot be measured by the simple addition of individual forces, and achieve the overall goal of the organization with different and individual goals. Organizations exist in all aspects of daily life and work. An enterprise is an organization. Any organization has its basic mission and objectives, and the mission and objectives of the organization explain the reasons for the existence of the organization.
When you talk about things, you must talk about people first. Let me talk about myself first. My attitude is that it is not an elective course for me, but a compulsory course. I am a public enterprise management major, which is a specialized course for me.
