After retiring in 2008, Kluwitt participated in the coaching course of the Dutch Football Association and became a professional coach. His first job as a coach was to train strikers in the Dutch team Alkmar in the 2008-09 season. In 10- 1 1 season, he came to Nijmegen as an assistant coach and was also responsible for training strikers. 1 1- 12 became the head coach of the Dutch upstart twente youth team and led the team to achieve good results. Then in August of 20 12, he joined the coaching staff of the Dutch national team and fought alongside his mentor Fan Jiaer. On 20 15, Kluivert became the head coach of Cura? ao and officially became the head coach of the first team.
