A yacht sailing in the waters under the jurisdiction of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall hold a valid People's Republic of China (PRC) yacht operator competency certificate or an equivalent electronic certificate issued by the maritime administrative agency. The age of the person who applies for a yacht driver's license for the first time is not less than 18 years old and not more than 60 years old.
