When was Ningbo Yaojiang Park built?
Approximately 1992

1992, the municipal government invested 5 million yuan to rebuild the original Yaojiang nursery, covering a total area of 9.2 hectares. The park mainly uses the original seedlings for plant landscaping, and has built an entrance square, Baihua Mountain, big lawn and scenic spots along the river. Entertainment projects such as bumper cars, paintball shooting centers, water yachts, water world, rapids, and space city were introduced and dismantled in 2004. In 2005, a swimming casino was built on the basis of the world's raw water facilities for tourists to escape the summer. The environment of this park is neat and beautiful. Since 1993, many large-scale garden activities have been held in the park, such as flower arrangement exhibition, camellia exhibition, Dutch tulip exhibition, autumn chrysanthemum exhibition, Sichuan Zigong lantern exhibition and ice sculpture art exhibition, which have enriched the leisure life of the general public. With the transformation of urban park system, Yaojiang Park is open to the people of the city free of charge. In July 2009, the "Yaojiang Flower Expo Park" upgraded from Yaojiang Park officially opened to welcome guests. The total investment of Yaojiang Flower Expo Park is150,000 yuan, and the exhibition area is 12000 square meters. Relying on the beautiful environment of Yaojiang Park, it is integrated with the whole park and existing supporting facilities. In addition to adding three new highlights: songbird garden, ornamental fish exhibition area and parrot performance field, Huabo Garden has also set up a flower promotion center to build a communication platform for the art of flower arrangement. Yaojiang Park, with outdated facilities and backward supporting facilities, has become a public welfare city theme park integrating sightseeing, leisure and fitness, popular science exhibition, education and training, and flower viewing and purchasing.
