According to the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) promulgated on July 20 15, April 1 5 every year is the National Security Education Day, and April 15 this year is the first National Security Education Day in China. This is a brand-new national security law, which is comprehensive, overall and basic, covering all fields of national security.

The law defines the national security tasks in the fields of 1 1 such as national political security, homeland security, military security, economic security, cultural security, social security, scientific and technological security, information security, ecological security, resource security and nuclear security, and constructs an integrated national security system and overall national security concept in the fields of 1 1.

The origin of safety education day

In order to strengthen the safety awareness of the whole people and actively safeguard national security, the law stipulates in Article 14 of the General Provisions in Chapter I that April 15 is the National Security Education Day of the whole people every year. Every year around April 15, China will carry out corresponding activities. Strengthen national security news propaganda and public opinion guidance, and carry out national security publicity and education activities through various forms.

Incorporate national security education into the national education system and the civil servant education and training system to enhance the national security awareness of the whole people. It is helpful to help all citizens understand the national security situation, enhance their sense of crisis and hardship, establish the concept of national security, conscientiously implement the national security law and related laws, actively support and cooperate with the state security organs to perform their duties, and make due contributions to safeguarding national security.
