This standard replaces JT/T433-2000 "Conditions for the Opening of Motor Vehicle Driver Training Enterprises". Compared with JT/T 433-2000, the main changes of this standard are as follows:

—— The classification of motor vehicle driving training institutions has been changed from the original one, two and three categories to comprehensive and special categories, and it is divided into one, two and three levels according to the number of driving training vehicles;

-The discipline qualification, management system, personnel conditions and teaching facilities and equipment have been redefined;

-Increased requirements for safety facilities of coaches;

-The requirements for funds and other facilities and equipment other than teaching in the original standard have been deleted.

This standard is put forward and centralized by the Highway Department of the Ministry of Communications.

This standard is drafted by China Road Transport Association, Jilin Road Transport Administration, Heilongjiang Road Transport Administration, Hunan Road Transport Administration, Sichuan Road Transport Administration, Chongqing Road Transport Administration, Shanxi Transportation Administration, Hainan Motor Vehicle Driver Training Industry Management Office, Dalian Motor Vehicle Driver Training Management Center, Jiangyan Driving Training School in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, and Suining Automobile Driving Repair School in Sichuan Province.

The main drafters of this standard are Gao Feng, Wu Zhongxun, Chai, Wu Dongfeng, Liu Baoku, Li Tai, Ai, Wang Peixi, Zou Yechang, Shi Jian, Zhao Jianhua, Gu, Mao Defu and Yang Jidong. The previous version of this standard is JT/T 433-2000.
