"Don't let your child lose at the starting line." After the baby was born, I saw many parents send their children to nearby early education centers to study. My heart began to shake and I went to many early education centers for consultation and investigation.
Through the in-depth understanding of the early education center, I found that the courses of the early education center mainly focus on habit formation, interest cultivation, physical exercise, artistic enlightenment and so on. In fact, these contents are not profound. As long as our parents pay a little attention, they can teach their children at home.
In addition, I saw a report on early education on TV, saying that the qualifications of early education institutions are mixed, and many teachers do not have relevant early education qualifications. After reading it, I was worried and gave up the idea of sending my children to early education.
Parents are the first teachers of the children. It is better to pay more efforts and energy to educate children, draw up an early education plan for children, and personally accompany children to grow up.
When I shared my thoughts with my family, I got their strong approval. So, I drew lessons from the curriculum content of the early education center and carefully made an early education plan for my children:
1. Habit formation: help children in life, develop good living habits, and insist on going to bed early and getting up early;
2. Interest cultivation: insist on reading picture books and story books to children, help children develop good reading habits from an early age, and regard books as lifelong partners and friends;
3. Physical exercise: insist on taking children to outdoor activities every day, basking in the sun to supplement calcium, absorbing fresh air, and doing physical touch activities for children at home;
4. Interest cultivation: paint and sing with children, cultivate children's hearts with some classic paintings and beautiful songs, cultivate children's artistic vision, and let children feel the fun of painting and singing;
5. Social skills: Every child will integrate into society and be a social person. Therefore, we attach great importance to the cultivation of children's social skills. In our spare time, we will take our children and play and communicate with children of the same age. When encountering small frictions and setbacks, we will encourage children to learn to solve them and let them learn communication methods from an early age.
Through careful companionship, we found that children's abilities in all aspects have been comprehensively improved, and children can adapt quickly when they enter kindergarten. Whether a child participates in early education may not be a particularly important factor in the child's growth. Most importantly, our parents should care for their children with love and spend time with them to grow up step by step.
