I. Primary education
According to the regulations of the Irish government, all children over the age of six must start primary school, but about 40% students will start primary school at the age of four. Of course, these children go to private primary schools. Although there are differences in the specific operation of primary education institutions, including public schools and private schools, the goal is to cultivate children to think independently and learn to cooperate with others.
Second, secondary education.
In Ireland, ordinary middle schools are basically private, and km middle schools provide vocational education, which is similar to domestic vocational middle schools, but with higher recognition, not marginalized teaching. Secondary education usually lasts 5-6 years. If you finish junior high school in three years and go straight to school, it only takes five years. If you choose the year after graduating from junior high school as a gap year, it will be six years. There are also differences in teaching objectives. Ethnic middle schools focus on vocational education, and the ultimate goal is employment. Private universities focus on specialized education, with the ultimate goal of further study.
Third, higher education.
Corresponding to middle schools, higher education is now in a state of confrontation between the two armies. Some students from public middle schools, as well as members of the public, will choose to continue their studies, so that they will enter professional training institutions and have less learning pressure. Most international students choose the same university education as private secondary schools, which will be more detailed in the classification of majors, more theoretical in the teaching content, and the starting point of future employment will be relatively high.
