Baby Sunshine (babies in English) is a French documentary. There is no explanation, only words in individual locations. It records the process of babies from birth to learning to walk in the United States, Japan, Mongolia and Africa. After watching the movie, I felt a lot, and suddenly felt that my father's participation in raising children reflected the civilization of this society.

African Namibian baby appeared in the camera for the first time, with dark skin and strong body. By her side, there is a mother and more than n friends. The only time fathers appeared was when everyone flocked to one place. Women walked with their children on their backs and men galloped past on donkeys. In the whole process of raising children, there are not many shots of parents, while African fathers leave only passers-by.

To tell the truth, seeing the growth process of African babies, seeing the innocence of children and seeing the barren environment touched me a lot. My child is about the same age as the African baby in this photo. I still feel a little sad to see her rolling around in the mud, learning to walk barefoot, making toys with sticks, and a dozen children sitting around a basin to eat. Nevertheless, her smile is so pure and her body is healthy, which is gratifying.

The Mongolian baby's father appeared twice. The first time a family was going to travel by motorcycle, the father took his wife and newborn baby with him. The second time was at a family gathering, where my father wore national costumes and his wife and children attended. In this family, the father is an important family economic pillar, but in the eyes of young children, maybe he is just a driver. This Mongolian family lives on grazing and weeds. Sometimes children have other companions, and sometimes children's companions are only their own brothers and all the animals in the family. The rooster jumped on the bed, and the bath water was drunk by the cow. When he was sleepy, he sat between two lambs and put his hand into the dog's mouth. The environment provides Mongolian babies with opportunities to get along with animals intimately.

American fathers and Japanese fathers are also involved in raising children. American dad takes his baby to take a bath, and Japanese dad takes his baby to soak in hot springs; American dads take their babies to various outdoor recreational activities, while Japanese dads work overtime in front of the computer at home while watching their children play on the floor next to them. In these two developed countries with clear division of labor, it is not only the mother's task to take care of children, but also the father actively participates in the child-rearing process after returning home from work.

When I saw Japanese mothers taking care of their children, I was surprised and admired that Japanese mothers could take care of their children in an orderly way. They organize parent-child activities together, take their children to the zoo, and four or five people are together, which is convenient and talking and laughing. This is a good choice to solve the monotony and boredom of some stay-at-home mothers' lives and exchange parenting experiences.

In the process of raising children, Japanese parents and American mothers have a common feature, that is, they will take their children to early education institutions. I took my children to an early education class for a while, and the teaching in the movie was basically the same as that in China. However, in Europe and America, early education institutions are a playground for children who are very close to the people, but in China, it has become a way to prevent children from losing at the starting line, and the price is staggering. Why do many good ideas and practices abroad go bad when they arrive at home?

In fact, I am still very touched by this film, which has aroused many inner voices. The degree of civilization reflects many details, and the degree of dad's participation is one of the important details.
