Interpretation of Jia Yi's Annotations
⑴ Seven-character quatrains: the abbreviation of seven-character quatrains. Quatrains are a form of old-style poetry. There are four pairs in the whole poem. There are five words and seven words. Five words in each sentence are called five sentences, and seven words in each sentence are called seven sentences. It stresses levelness, antithesis and rhyme. Jia Sheng: refers to Jia Yi (200 BC-BC 168), a native of Luoyang (now east of Luoyang, Henan), and is called Jia Sheng, a political commentator and writer in the Western Han Dynasty. At first, he was called a doctor by Emperor Wen of Han Dynasty, and soon he was moved to be a doctor in Taizhong. Emperor Wendi wanted to appoint him as a public official, but he was rejected by Zhou Bo, Guan Ying and other ministers, and was demoted as the teacher of the King Wu of Changsha. Later, he was recalled to Chang 'an and became the teacher of Liang Huaiwang. Liang fell off his horse and died. Jia Yi was deeply sorry and died of depression at the age of 33.

⑵ "Jia Sheng's talent is in harmony with the world": Jia Sheng written by Li Shangyin in the Tang Dynasty is translated into one sentence: "Jia Sheng's talent is more in harmony". Talent adjustment: refers to talent and ability. Unparalleled: unparalleled, that is, no one can compare.

⑶ Sorrow: It refers to Jia Yi's feelings of worrying about the country and the people expressed in Public Security Policy (also known as A Record of Chen Zheng). At the beginning of "Public Security Policy", it said, "What I stole was only the situation. I could cry one, cry two, and call six ..." Feelings: Jude's mood, mood. Hanging Wen Qu: After Jia Yi was demoted as Teacher Wang of Changsha, he felt sorry for Qu Yuan's loyalty when crossing Xiangjiang River, and wrote "Hanging Qu Fuyuan", "because this is a self-metaphor".

⑷ Liang Wang fell off a horse: Liang Wang refers to Liu Sheng (works), the youngest son of Emperor Wen of Han Dynasty. The fall of horses occurred in the summer and June of the eleventh year of Emperor Wendi (BC 169). The author appreciates Jia Yi's talent very much, and thinks that his death due to the tragic death of Liu Sheng, King Huai of Liang, is unworthy and deeply regrettable.

5] What's the use: Why not? The title of a poem uses people's names directly, without saying "chanting", "sighing" or "mourning", which is purely neutral. This is the way to hide the front. Love is in poetry, not in the name of the poem.

The first sentence came straight to the point, and highly praised Jia Yi's outstanding talent and established a "peerless" status. Here, the author uses the phrase "Jia Geng is incoherent" in Li Shangyin's Jia Sheng, and only changes the word "one" to "yes", which broadens the realm a lot. "Geng" is a comparative statement, and "poetry" is a historical comment. It is more realistic to affirm Jia Yi's unparalleled talent when discussing it in poetry.

When Jia Yi was demoted to Changsha as the teacher of Changsha King, he wrote "Mourning Qu Fuyuan" with great sadness to express his cynicism and his untimely sense by mourning Qu Yuan. A poem, chasing two historical figures. Jia Yi was demoted and Qu Yuan was demoted, but the situation was different. Jia Yi hanged Qu Yuan, which is called sharing the same fate. Therefore, the biography of Han Jia Yi also said, "If you recover from injury, you should tell yourself." . Mao Zedong noticed this and put them on the same page, realizing the historical injustice and a gentleman's ill-fated fate.

In the third sentence, the author calmly tells that it is common for Liang Wang to fall off his horse and die. Emperor Wen of Han recalled Jia Yi to Chang 'an, attached great importance to his talent and morality, and appointed him as the teacher of Liu Sheng, King Huai of Liang. Later, Liang Wang fell off his horse and died. It was an accident. Jia Yi was responsible, but he didn't take good care of it. Wendy doesn't blame herself, Jia Yi blames herself. Either the "seriousness" element in her personality is too heavy or the "pressure" of self-discipline is too great. When things change, all ideas go up in smoke. This is Jia Yi deeply influenced by the Confucian thought of "loyalty, forgiveness, benevolence and righteousness" and practiced his foolish loyalty creed of sacrificing his life for righteousness. Originally, Liang Wang's death from a horse was not a particularly terrible thing, but it actually made Jia Yi sad to death.

At the end of the sentence, I returned Jia Yi, regretting that Jia Hongyi didn't need it, and regretting that Jia Yi died of "common things" comes down to cherishing talents. The sharp contrast between "devoting one's life" and "seeking great harmony" shows the poet's deep regret for Jia Yi's early death due to the fall of Liang Wang. It is really unacceptable that Jia Sheng, a talented man, died of grief. The last sentence has a poetic effect, leaving a lot of imagination for readers. At the same time, this is also a kind of "self-confession" of the author's "anti-Rightism".

However, history often jokes about talented people and those who seek talents, so there are many people without talents, and those who seek talents are scarce, so that on the one hand, talents are destroyed, and on the other hand, people are empty. Jia Yi died young, and Liang Wang's fall was only a recent cause; As early as when he was demoted to Changsha, his book Fu on the Owl had an ominous sound: "If you live, you will die." If you are still in the abyss, if you are not tied to the boat ... "

The whole poem reflects the author's high appreciation of Jia Yi's "unparalleled talent", and he is very sorry for his unfinished talent, frustrated career, lack of reuse and early death. At the same time, it gently criticized Jia Yi's self-injury, fragility, stupidity and pedantry. The language is clear and fluent, and the use of previous poems is free and easy, with a deep charm. The poet seems to want to unify Jia Yi's short and brilliant life between the lines, and at the same time he can't help making his own emotional judgment. -Sun Dongsheng, a professor at Shandong University Art College.
