Children's early education graffiti brush
The development of children's painting can be divided into three stages: graffiti period (1.5-3.5 years old), symbol period (3.5-5 years old) and sketch period (5-7 years old). I worked as an early education teacher for a few years, mainly for children in the graffiti period. They like to daub everywhere, and the white wall of my house witnessed various forms of my daughter's graffiti period. They are quite like abstract masters of art, picking up pens and scribbling on paper, walls, tables and stools. First, they draw some dots, then slowly, they start to wire and finally develop into circles. If you ask him, "What did you draw? He can speak clearly, as if it were true.

Victor Ronanfield, an American children's art educator, divided the period of children's graffiti into four stages:

Indifferent graffiti (1.5-2 years old), controlled graffiti (2-2.5 years old), circular graffiti (2.5-3 years old) and named graffiti (3-3.5 years old).

1, indiscriminate graffiti

At this stage, children have just begun to try to use strokes, but they have no awareness of painting. They just use muscles to animate some simple lines, or poke a few points and use more wrist strength.

Step 2 control graffiti

Slowly began to find the feeling, muscle control ability is better, and began to draw some lines repeatedly.

Step 3 circle graffiti

Began to draw a crooked circle, first an open circle, and slowly a circle was connected end to end. From simple to complex, children's grasping ability is enhanced at this stage.

4. Name graffiti

Imagination begins to develop, and all kinds of imaginative ideas, if the child just draws a circle, but you ask him, he can tell you what the cloud will do, and imagination and action are connected.

1. Can such a young child draw? It's just graffiti

Sun Li tried to stop the graffiti of two children, but Deng Chao said, "The wallpaper can be changed, but if you erase the inspiration, it will be gone." . In our normal life, this is not easy. If children scribble on the wall and draw an unknown thing that they still can't understand, then parents will definitely be unable to suppress the upcoming volcano.

When the child is willing to pick up the brush and start painting, it means that the child has begun to be interested, or the sensitive period of painting has arrived. You know, a child's love for one thing is often formed in childhood. Some children will be interested in graffiti around 1 year old. If children are blocked and hit by their parents, then this sensitive period and interest will disappear, and it will be difficult to regain their love for art in later life.

Do you really know the world of children?

2. Why do children draw things they don't like?

Many parents will look puzzled when they see their children's paintings. They don't know what their children are drawing at all, or they let their children imitate paintings, but they draw two unrelated works. I often find this problem in my daughter. What she drew is far from what she originally wanted her to draw.

For example, once she was painting, I asked:

"What is this? It is red. "

"This is the sky!"

"The sky? This is the sky? Why is the sky this color? "

"Because there are strawberries in the sky, the sky is red. . . . . . "

The world of children is really difficult to draw conclusions.

I remember watching The Little Prince before. The little prince wanted to be a painter at first, because he was very interested in painting. He drew a picture of an elephant being eaten by a snake for adults to see, but adults said it was a hat. Later, he drew a perspective view of the elephant in the snake's belly to explain it, but the adults said, "Don't focus on these python pictures, focus on how to learn culture, geography, history and arithmetic well." So the little prince gave up the idea of becoming a writer.

If the child draws something similar at this stage, it may be a kind of sadness for the child. Art education is not imitation education, which just shows that children's thinking is fixed, because this stage is a period when children like to be unconstrained and unconstrained. If there is only one way to evaluate and draw a work, children will lose the motivation to explore new things and gradually lose their feelings of beauty and cognitive ability of things.

1, cultivate children's imagination and creativity

The child's imagination began to sprout from 23 months, and the child was full of curiosity and desire to explore everything. The process of doodling happens to be the period when children play their imagination. They draw all their inner thoughts on paper, and children are willing to tell stories while painting.

Step 2 Cultivate concentration

The process of graffiti is also the process of children's concentration and exploration. Parents should not disturb or effectively guide their children to immerse themselves in their own creation, which is the best process to cultivate their concentration.

3. Develop fine movements

Children in graffiti period will not only use brushes, but also use scissors, brushes, dirt and other tools to exercise fine movements.

Step 4 cultivate self-confidence

In the process of children's creation, it is also their ability to think about how to complete the creation and how to do it. The establishment of self-confidence is a process in which children constantly think and solve problems.

5. Help children express themselves in another way and build a healthy personality.

Children's painting is a way for children to express their feelings, feelings and understanding of things. Children can express their inner joys and sorrows through painting, and at the same time, when their language ability is not enough to support language expression, they can also fully express it through painting.

1. Provide as many environments as possible for children's creation.

Sun Li and Deng Chao sacrificed this wall to protect their children's imagination. My daughter began to attack the wall, so I quickly bought wallpaper, sketchpad and other tools. Whenever she wants to start showing off her talents, I will take her to the balcony or spread it on the floor with white paper, so that she can start writing carefree, and I don't have to be afraid.

2. Adults must let go

The hardest thing to do in early childhood classes is to let parents let go. It's really hard for adults to ignore children's paintings. Scissors are not used like this. Look how well they draw. What you draw here is so ugly. Even if the teacher repeatedly emphasizes that parents should let go, parents will still be unable to control it. As a result, the child got angry, did nothing, and then left.

In fact, it is understandable that parents expect their children to succeed and their daughters to succeed, but this practice really hurts their self-confidence. Children are not as good as adults in many things, but parents need more patience, see their progress and let them know that they are actually great. Children can draw well without the help of adults, which requires a process.

3, the correct guidance

When my daughter paints the sky red, I will ask her "Why is it red"? Instead of saying "You drew it wrong, the sky is not this color", children will have their own ideas to tell you. Or ask the child, "Do you like this sky? How do you feel? " This will stimulate children's expression and expand their imagination.

Once when she was painting a castle, she told me with great interest that she had painted so many houses.

"This for you and dad, this for grandparents, this for grandparents. . . . . . "

I quickly said, "Look at grandma, she likes growing flowers and vegetables best. Do you think it is necessary to add a yard to the house? "

As soon as she heard it, she thought it made sense and began to draw.

Then I said, "Grandparents like sunny days with the sun best."

The child immediately said, "grandma must still like birds." I want to draw more birds in front of her window. "

Children's thinking and imagination are thus opened, and adults only need to add icing on the cake, without suppressing self-confidence.

China's traditional education is to develop the left brain vigorously, and the cultivation of art makes up for this. Through the study of art, the right brain has been well exercised. In 2009, the International Education Progress Assessment Organization conducted a survey in 265,438+0 countries around the world. The results show that children in China rank first in the world in computing ability, mathematics and reading ability, first in imagination and fifth in creativity.

After more than 20 years of follow-up investigation, American College Board found that students who participated in art activities for a long time scored 67- 104 higher than those who did not participate in art activities.

Did you do the right thing during the sensitive period of children's graffiti?
