American Sign Language (ASL), also known as Ameslan, is the sign language used by most deaf people in the United States. It has its own unique grammatical structure, which is different from English grammar. Some ordinary schools in America regard it as a foreign language. Deaf people follow their specific expressions when using American sign language, so they must never use English grammar rules to set ASL grammar.
