Juye County, named after Konosawa in ancient times, was the place of "Western Expedition and Forest Introduction" in the Spring and Autumn Period, and the place where Peng Yue started his troops in the late Qin Dynasty, and the famous "Juye Teaching Plan" in modern times also happened here. Juye County was established in the Western Han Dynasty, and Linzhou was established in the fourth year of Tang Wude, so it is also called Linzhou. Juye County is the place where Kirin was born and the source of Kirin culture in China. "Kirin culture" is unique here and is known as "the hometown of Kirin". In the Spring and Autumn Period, there are allusions to the "Journey to the West for Forest", Qilin Tomb (also known as "Lintai"), the tablet of "Lin Taiming" by Wei Biaowai, a scholar of Hanlin in the Tang Dynasty, and the tablet of "Qilin Tomb", which were awarded to Zhang Jiuxu in Jining in the 14th year of Ming Jiajing. There are countless records about Kylin Juye in many historical books. In recent years, Kirin culture has been well inherited and carried forward in Juye. People worship Kirin, scholars study Kirin, and the government vigorously protects, excavates and actively promotes the research work of Kirin culture. The Juye County Party Committee and the county government squeezed out funds to build the Huolin Garden in Juye County under the condition of very tight financial resources. At the same time, the county also completed the "China Kirin Garden Planning" based on the Kirin Tomb. The Legend of Kirin has been listed in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection in Shandong Province, and it is actively applying to enter the list of national intangible cultural heritage protection.
