Liushi kindergarten game observation record-children become fond of raising their hands.
Observation time: September 8, 2020

Observation location: classroom

Observation object: all the students in Class Five.

Observation teacher: Zhang Jing, fifth grade.

Observation record:

As a freshman class, some children in Class Five are still a little timid in front of teachers, so when teachers organize teaching activities, they often encounter such a situation: when teachers have questions to ask their children, only a few children such as Zhang, Zhang, Zhu Hanyu can raise their hands and speak with their hearts, and their thinking is active. Other children seldom talk, and often look like they have nothing to do with themselves and hang high. Why don't these children like to raise their hands to speak? Is it because you can't answer the teacher's question, or because you are not focused enough in class and your thoughts are outside the activities? Or even if you understand the answer, you are too timid to answer.

After a period of observation, I gradually discovered the reasons why these children don't like to raise their hands to speak, and then took corresponding educational measures. Children like Dongdong and Yichen Wang are afraid to answer questions because they are timid, so I encourage them to raise their hands boldly, affirm and praise their answers in time, and let them gradually develop the good habit of speaking boldly. I consciously remind and guide the children with insufficient concentration, Faan Yeung Rui and Ying Bobin, to help them draw their attention back in time. For younger children, I ask questions as simply as possible to help them gain more confidence. At the same time, I also give social stimulation to children who raise their hands and concentrate on speaking, such as five-pointed stars and small candy, and stimulate their desire to get gifts by raising their hands to answer questions.

Teaching reflection: after a period of training, children have improved in bold answering questions. There are more and more children in the class who raise their hands and concentrate on speaking, and the voice of children answering questions is getting louder and louder. Seeing the little hand held high, my heart was full of expectation and emotion.

Teachers should actively guide children to speak in class, and can attract children in different ways, so that they can actively participate in the classroom and learn new knowledge imperceptibly.
