The IQ of dolphins is equivalent to that of human children aged 6-7. Scientists compared the brains of orangutans, humans and dolphins. The brain weight of dolphins is almost the same as that of humans, which are 1.6kg and 1.5kg respectively, while that of orangutans is only one sixth of that of humans, that is, 0.25 kg, which proves that the IQ of dolphins is higher than that of chimpanzees.
The habits of dolphins
Dolphin swimming is a unique way for dolphins to swim. The whole body jumps out of the water at a small angle and then enters the water at a small angle, which is one of the ways that dolphins are different from other cetaceans. Dolphins swim very fast, usually the fastest speed is about 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Individual species of dolphins can swim more than 55 kilometers per hour and can last for a long time. They are champions of long-distance ocean swimming.
Dolphins mainly feed on fish and squid, among which killer whales also prey on mammals, birds and large fish. Like other toothed whales, dolphins rely on echolocation to prey, and can even stun their prey with loud noise.
