Flood refers to a natural phenomenon that the river water volume increases rapidly and the water level rises sharply due to heavy rain or reservoir dam break.
Emergency measures:
1. Pay attention to the weather forecast, be vigilant and evacuate before the flood comes.
2. If it is too late to evacuate, quickly move to nearby hillsides, highlands, buildings, flood shelters and other places, or climb on roofs, tall buildings, trees, high walls and other highlands for temporary refuge.
3. If the temporary shelter is unsafe, quickly find some materials that can float on the water, such as door panels, tables and chairs, wooden beds, boxes, large pieces of foam plastic, etc., and tie them into rafts to escape. If you have been involved in the flood, you must catch something fixed or floating as much as possible.
4. When escaping, you should quickly flee to both sides of the spillway. Never climb live telephone poles or towers. When it is found that the high-voltage tower is tilted or the wires are broken and drooping, it must be removed quickly to prevent electric shock.
If you have been surrounded by floods, try to get in touch with the flood control department as soon as possible and report your position and danger. Use flashlights, whistles, flags, bright sheets, clothes and other tools to send out distress signals.
6. After the flood, epidemics often occur, so we should pay attention to epidemic prevention.
