Weiyuan County People's Hospital is the only national second-class general hospital in Weiyuan County. It is the first aid center for medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, rehabilitation and first aid in Weiyuan County. It is also the county-wide medical insurance contract hospital, the designated hospital for serious diseases, Luzhou Medical College and Neijiang Health School Teaching Hospital, the National Baby-friendly Hospital and the Weiyuan Sub-center of Neijiang Emergency Center.
