Maria montessori (Italian: maria montessori,1870 August 31-1952 May 6) is an Italian preschool educator, the first female doctor in Italy, the first female doctor in Italy, a feminist and the founder of Montessori education law.
Her educational method comes from her observation of children's spontaneous learning behavior in the process of working with children. It advocates that schools should design an exclusive environment tailored for children, and puts forward the concepts of "absorbing mind" and "sensitive period".
1907, the first Children's Home was established in St. Lawrence District of Rome. Soon, the second Children's Home was established one after another.

1909 published the Italian version of the important book "Montessori Teaching Method" (the Italian version is entitled "The Application of Scientific Education Method in Early Childhood Education in Children's Home"). The first teacher training course was held in Rome.
