Longtan ancient town 1
Longtan Ancient Town is a famous historical and cultural town in China and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. Longtan Ancient Town is located in the east of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County in the southeast of Chongqing, 40 kilometers away from the county seat, bordering Xiushan County, and in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain, which is the gateway to Youdong.
Longtan Ancient Town Scenic Area is dominated by Longtan Ancient Town and the former residence of Comrade Zhao Shiyan, with a total area of 3.2 square kilometers. It is one of the classic red tourist attractions in China 100. Longtan is named after two longan-shaped water caves in the lower part of Fulongshan often accumulate water to form pools, and the ancient town passes through the longan-shaped dragon wall.
2. ciqikou ancient town
Ciqikou ancient town, formerly known as Long Yin Town, is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a famous historical and cultural street in China, a traditional block under special protection in Chongqing, a "New Bayu Twelve Scenery" in Chongqing and a folk culture tourism circle in Bayu.
Ciqikou ancient town, located on the Jialing River in Shapingba District, Chongqing, was founded in the Song Dynasty. It has a unique landform of "one river, two streams, three mountains and four streets" and forms a natural harbor. It is an important land and water wharf on Jialing River. There was a time when "1,000 people raised their hands during the day and 10,000 lights were on at night".
3. People's Square
Chongqing People's Square was completed in June, 1997. It is a municipal, cultural and leisure square in Chongqing, and also a place for grand gatherings and activities in the city. The third phase expansion project of the plaza has been successfully completed. The Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing, China has been built in the north of the square, echoing the Great Hall of the People and Chongqing Grand Square from a distance, forming a trinity and magnificent new urban landscape.
4. Chaotianmen
Chongqing Chaotianmen is located at the intersection of Jialing River and Yangtze River in Yuzhong Peninsula, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It is one of the 17 ancient city gates before Chongqing. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Lin 'an, the capital of the Song Dynasty, was today's Hangzhou. At that time, an imperial edict reached Chaotianmen via the Yangtze River, hence the name Chaotianmen.
5. Monument to the People's Liberation
