According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on April 15, a new study published in the American journal Pediatrics found that playing music or singing to premature babies helps to lower their heart rate, make them breathe more smoothly and sleep more sweetly.
The music therapist of Beth Israel Hospital affiliated to Harvard Medical School conducted a two-week follow-up survey of 272 premature babies and their mothers in the US 1 1 hospital. Some babies listen to one of the two musical instruments, some babies listen to their parents singing, and the rest children don't listen to music. When you sing or play music for your baby, the rhythm will naturally slow down and sound closer to a lullaby. The results show that playing music can alleviate the breathing rhythm of newborns and improve their sleep quality. Parents singing can best reduce the baby's heart rate and improve the child's attention.
