Parents cultivate their children's reading experience.
As parents, it was only after we had a baby that we began to have a deeper reflection on our growth experience and knew why the baby's father didn't like reading and why he always liked reading so much. Only in this way can I understand the importance of reading more deeply. Because I don't like reading, my baby's father's Chinese performance has been hovering at the passing line, while my Chinese performance has been very good. Maybe it's because I learn Chinese well and my grades in all subjects are well balanced, so we attach great importance to the cultivation of baby's reading interest and habits. The practice of prenatal education for more than three years has also made some achievements, that is, the two-and-a-half-year-old baby really likes reading books and listening to stories, and can often tell some nursery rhymes and simple stories with his mouth, and his observation, imagination, creativity and expressiveness are also very good. We believe that with the growth of children's mind and our unremitting efforts and persistence, the baby will certainly make greater progress and perform better in the future. Now, let's briefly describe our experience in cultivating children's reading:

First, the reading environment in the family is very important.

In today's families, computers, televisions and DVD players have become very popular. Many children watch more and more TV programs and early education CDs, even advertisements and adult TV programs. Relatively speaking, there is less and less time and opportunity to read books. Mainly because some parents don't like reading, so they don't buy books for their children. Some parents, because they are busy, have no time to accompany their children to read books and tell stories, so they let their children watch TV or CDs. Parents who are a little laissez-faire are just as long as they don't cry and don't disturb their work, no matter what their children watch. Parents who are a little more careful will spend some time to choose some early education CDs suitable for their children, hoping that early education CDs can replace themselves to educate their children. Although it is impossible to refuse to watch TV in real life, although watching a proper amount of early education discs at the right time will be beneficial to children's growth and give them some benign guidance, these benefits are limited after all, and only reading books will be beneficial to children, at least we think so.

No matter how helpless parents are and how many reasons they think they can be forgiven, they should create a good family reading environment for their children, because the importance of paper books for reading can not be ignored: reading can broaden children's horizons, develop children's intelligence, help children read, and parent-child reading can also enhance the relationship between parents and children. Therefore, we should have family reading time, read more books and newspapers in front of children and tell more stories to children; Even if parents don't like reading, at least watch TV with their children less. In our family, it's not that babies don't watch TV or CDs. It's just that we will try our best to control the time she watches TV and discs, and we will also limit the content she watches TV and discs. We will even create the illusion that the TV is out of order or suddenly loses power when she insists on watching cartoons. The purpose is not to make her addicted to TV, but to create more reading opportunities for her. We also try to watch less TV and watch some channels suitable for children, even if we want to watch TV series. It is said that parents are children's first teachers, their attitudes towards reading and their choice of books will deeply affect children. For the healthy growth of children, parents should also set an example and read more positive books.

Because of my father's influence, I have always loved reading. I especially like reading all kinds of books. It can be said that I am interested in anything with words, so the most important thing in our family is books. Maybe it's because of my love of reading. Babies also like reading. He often plays with a book. Now I get up in the morning and start calling for reading. When I don't go to kindergarten during the day, I often stand by and watch posters on the wall or ask me to tell her stories with various storybooks and listen to them again and again until I can remember the storyline and simple conversations. An hour before I go to bed, I will take out my story book and haunt my parents. We read books with her and let my parents tell stories. As a parent, I am really happy whenever I hear a child shouting for a book!

Second, the time and method of reading training are very important.

The younger the child, the more plastic it is. It is best to start with the fetus and lay a good foundation for reading. In the fetal period, you can show it to your parents, and of course you can choose a story CD to show to others. In short, let children grow up slowly in reading. After the child is born, parents can tell stories by talking, without deliberately telling them at a fixed time, just like talking, they can tell them to their children anytime and anywhere. Of course, the content of this time period should be short and pithy. Personally, I think it is best to take children's songs as the main content, because children's songs are more charming, catchy and easy to remember. Letting children listen to books can stimulate their brain development and help them improve their language level. So before the child is one and a half years old, we basically let the child listen to books. When the child is older, you can give the book to the child, and the child will look at it and feel it to choose what he wants to know. You can disconnect when you are telling your child the contents of the book. There is no need to finish a story. As long as the children have seen it, just tell them what is consistent with the words and pictures in the book. It is really not easy to do a good job in this area, because it is likely that we adults are busy with work or housework when our children are interested, but we must have priorities in everything. As parents, we must try our best to put children's interests first and give them the most selfless contribution when they need our company to help them solve their doubts, instead of forcing them to study hard what we adults think is necessary when they don't want to. In addition, parents really can't be too impatient, don't always want to see the reading effect of their children, don't ask their children how many stories they remember immediately after reading and telling stories, or even force them to repeat stories. This eagerness for success will gradually make their children lose interest in reading. What we need to do is to guide and influence them without trace. What children need is to moisten things quietly! In our family, every time I tell a story to my baby, I basically don't ask any questions related to the content of the story. I just stop and listen to her story when my baby wants to continue telling stories and conversations. We will also retell the story when we don't take the book, and pretend to forget the rest in the process of telling it. At this time, the baby will tell the next story, will be particularly happy because he helped his parents, and will enhance his desire to read and tell stories.

Third, it is important to choose the right books for children.

To cultivate children's reading interests and habits, the most important thing is to choose suitable books for children. There are many kinds of children's books on the market now, so it takes a lot of thought to buy books for children every time. As children grow up, they visit bookstores and buy books more and more times, and gradually have a little experience. You can buy stickers and hang watches for your children in infancy. Sticking them on the wall will be more conspicuous and attract children's attention. Holding the baby, watching it often, just hanging out. When children can sit and climb, they can buy some soft books that can't be torn by small hands. Generally, it is mainly based on reading pictures, so that children can read at will and have a certain understanding of books. When the children are older, they can buy small books such as "Little Comics", which are cute in shape, with pictures as the main content and a small amount of words. The story content is best within 100 words. You can buy more and more books as you get older.

Our baby's books mainly include the following categories: 1, pocket cards for literacy or literacy, which are relatively small as a whole and convenient for children to hold and read. 2. Stickers and calendar books have been hung up. They can be pasted on the wall and hung on the wall, so that children can see them when they look up. Parents and children can also teach their children knowledge without turning over the books when they play, such as the calendar books "Three Character Classics" and "Disciples Rules". 3. Story books synchronized with cartoons, such as In the Night Garden and Teletubby, are excerpts from cartoons, which makes children more willing to read books while falling in love with cartoons, thus reducing the time and frequency of watching cartoons as much as possible, which is of great benefit to children's growth. 4. Fairy tale books and pre-school education books, including a series of short books such as Baby's Enlightenment Fairy Tales, 200 Bedside Stories for Parents and Children, Early Language Learning, and Baby's Preparation for Kindergarten. 5. Sticker books, such as fun stickers of Happy Farm and hands-on stickers, can develop children's intelligence, cultivate their creative thinking and improve their emotional intelligence. The baby likes it very much, and often pulls his mother to read books and post pictures together. Every time after thinking, searching and comparing, I can stick the sticker in the right position, and the baby will be very excited, clapping and cheering for himself happily, and then I will be more energetic.

Although Bao Bei is still very young, with limited books to read, few nursery rhymes to tell and limited stories to tell, she likes reading, has a strong interest in learning, and her learning ability is quite strong, which makes us full of confidence in her future reading. Of course, children are still young, and their plasticity is still very strong. We should not take it lightly. We need to continue to guide her correctly, we need to cultivate her reading habits, let books grow with her, and make reading a hobby that she can't give up all her life!
