The Research Center for Geological Hazards in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area under the direct leadership of the Ministry of Education is a comprehensive and open platform with geological hazards as the main research field, and China Geo University (Wuhan) is the construction undertaker. It covers seven first-class disciplines such as geology, geological resources and geological engineering, geophysics, environmental science and engineering, civil engineering, water conservancy engineering, management science and engineering, and has a typical interdisciplinary nature. The main body of the platform includes a comprehensive field teaching and research base composed of Badong large-scale field geological disaster comprehensive test site, Zigui field comprehensive test site, 6 research rooms and multifunctional geological disaster information platform. After the project is completed, it will provide an all-round and multidisciplinary field teaching and research platform for the prediction and prevention of geological disasters in the Three Gorges reservoir area.

The operation mechanism of the Three Gorges Center is the operation and management mechanism of "openness, sharing, alliance and innovation". By combining open recruitment with internal recommendation, first-class scholars at home and abroad are recruited as directors of research centers, chief professors in various research directions and corresponding technical backbones. Professionals are urgently needed for the research and laboratory construction of each subproject. I. Recruitment positions

1, the position of development, operation and management of large-scale precision instrument MTS requires doctor/master in geological engineering, geotechnical engineering and electromechanical engineering1;

2. Doctor of Telemetry 1 person in the position of development, operation and management of 3D laser instruments and other related instruments and equipment;

3. Research positions in regional geological background of geological disasters, earthquake prediction and its secondary geological disasters, geological disasters induced by water-rock (soil) coupling, geological disaster monitoring and early warning and risk management, interaction between geological disaster bodies and prevention projects, information technology for geological disaster prevention, geological environment evolution and protection, etc. 4 doctors in related fields are required.
