Tablet PC (English: Tablet PC, Flat Pc, Tablet PC, Slates) is a small portable personal computer with touch screen as the basic input device. Its touch screen (also known as tablet technology) allows users to do their homework with a stylus or digital pen instead of a traditional keyboard or mouse. Users can use the built-in handwriting recognition, on-screen soft keyboard, voice recognition or real keyboard (if the model is equipped). Tablet PC was put forward by Bill Gates and should support the chip architecture of Intel, AMD and ARM. Judging from the concept product of tablet computer put forward by Microsoft, tablet computer is a fully functional PC that needs no flip cover and no keyboard, and is small enough to fit into a lady's handbag. Commonly known as learning machine, its formal name is "e-learning product" (ELP for short). There are a wide range of learning machines, including early education products for children, dictionary machines for middle and high schools and adults, and video computer learning machines for students.
