Finally, around 2000, Cuihu was gradually surrounded by high-rise buildings in the city because there were many real estate projects around it, and the area of the lake became smaller and smaller, completely becoming an inner lake of a city, and there was no opportunity to communicate with other lakes, rivers and oceans. Now it is in another water area, which is what we call Caohai area.
The same scene is happening. Caohai Coast has never been developed before, but with the increasingly hot real estate market in China, this wild land has also become a human development zone. Many large and small buildings have been signed around Caohu, which are basically high-end buildings and communities, and only those rich people can afford them.
This scene is too similar to what happened around Cuihu. These two places were once part of Dianchi Lake, and later became the rich areas of Kunming and the representative areas of modern urbanization. It is really hard to say whether it is more beneficial or harmful to move from nature to cities and towns, but in the long run, it seems that it is human beings who suffer.
However, the urbanization projects around Caohai seem to be more upscale than the previous Cuihu, and the area here is also larger.
