Mencius said that if the king can manage the country in an orderly way and enjoy the people, he will naturally win the support and love of the people. The people are very happy to hear that the king likes to listen to concerts. They will be in high spirits for his healthy body and so leisurely and elegant. On the other hand, if the people are displaced and complain, and the king is still enjoying music, then the people will boil and the people will think that the king is greedy for pleasure and does not pay attention to the development of the country and the improvement of people's lives.
Finally, Mencius said that if the king really likes music, he must enjoy it with the people. Only in this way can he be king in the world.
