Fuxian senior high school is a municipal key high school that undertakes the task of high school education and teaching in the county. Now it is a provincial civilized campus. Located in Guzhou with profound cultural heritage, it is now the main street of Fuxian County, covering an area of 80 mu. The school has 220 teaching and administrative staff, including full-time teachers 185, special and senior middle school teachers 19, and first-class middle school teachers18. Since 2002, the old campus has been redesigned. The school has successively raised more than RMB170,000 by means of holding shares of teachers and staff, introducing social funds and socialized reform of logistics services, and built a number of infrastructures such as North Teaching Building, Book Laboratory Building, Apartment Building, Catering Building and Logistics Service Building, which basically met the demand of high school enrollment in the county and laid a good foundation for popularizing high school education in our county.

Fuxian senior high school has experienced a difficult course and made brilliant achievements since its establishment. After 50 years' unremitting efforts of several generations, 44 junior high school graduates (about 6,543,800+6,000) and 33 senior high school graduates (about 6,543,800+8,000) have moved from this school to all walks of life, making contributions to local economic development and social progress. A number of model principals such as Yuan, Li Chunhua and others have emerged. A large number of famous teachers, such as Hao Fushou, Li Yule, Zhu, Yang, Kang Guofang, Guo and Zuo Chang, have emerged, which are deeply loved by students and have achieved outstanding teaching results.
