The Footsteps of Growing Up is a phased achievement of the Outline of Sexual Health Education for Primary and Secondary Schools in Beijing, which is being formulated in Beijing. It is the first experimental textbook for school-based sex education for primary school students, which will be put into use in dingfuzhuang No.2 Primary School in Chaoyang District in September. Different from the sex education textbooks used in other schools, the contents involved in this textbook have broken the bottom line of traditional education. Every page of the textbook has illustrations that match the text.
