To tell the truth, some words in these propaganda, such as early excavation, potential and whole brain development, are still very attractive to novice parents. However, can these lofty ideas achieve corresponding results, or are these theories correct? I am not a professional, and I have no scientific theory to refute it, so I will give two real examples for your reference.
The first one is the girl next door, who is three months older than my daughter. Because I am familiar with it, I know the development of this child from birth to growth. The development of children's movements from small to large is not bad. The time points of three turns and six sittings are basically the same, but later the language development is slightly slower than the average, and then the height and weight development are also slow, and they have been thin and low.
When she was less than two years old, her parents enrolled her in an annual national chain early education class with a price of nearly 20,000 yuan, focusing on American ideas. Once a week, both parents and children must attend. Her mother said that the main content of the class is that the teacher plays music and teaches parents to play some games with their children. I asked how the effect was, and she said that adults basically cooperated, and children rarely cooperated.
I didn't finish class on and off, and my children went to kindergarten. Although children over three years old have no concept of playmates, they all play together, but I once saw several children at the same time in their kindergarten. They play together, and she plays alone in the distance.
Later, I talked with her mother about interest classes. She said that the children showed no interest in painting, dancing, music, etc., and did not say that they wanted to learn, so she did not enroll in these interest classes at that time.
Later, when I was going to elementary school, the child still didn't play with children of the same age in the community. Sometimes when my daughter sees her playing with several close children, she will enthusiastically ask her to join. She usually refuses or walks away with a cold face. I sometimes see her playing with two older boys, but there is little interaction, mainly riding a scooter alone.
Another example is my daughter. My child's big movements develop slowly in infancy. I still remember that she couldn't get up for a long time. I was a little anxious, but her language ability developed very early. When I was one or two years old, my husband and I discussed early education. Of course, the first reason is poverty, and the second reason is that I am skeptical about the correctness and effectiveness of those early education theories, so neither of us expected to spend tens of thousands of dollars on this item. At that time, during the day, my father took the children to play aimlessly in the community. I played games with my children after work at night and went to bed early.
But because my grandfather took it, I didn't get too close to my grandmother's group with children in the community and the mother group, so my daughter was very afraid of meeting people for half a year before she went to kindergarten. When she went out to play, she must have avoided the crowd and played by herself when she reached a corner. This question once made me very anxious at that time. I also reflect on whether I am timid because I didn't attend early education classes, but I don't want to start early education because I am going to kindergarten soon.
Strange to say, although children cry at first after going to kindergarten, they like kindergarten very much after half a month of adaptation. After he came back, he told me about kindergarten every day, and he also liked to play with children. He also became a good friend with a little girl who lives in the same neighborhood among his classmates, and he is still a good girlfriend with this child today.
After school from kindergarten, I am not afraid of others. I dare to take the initiative to play with the children in the community. Later, I even fell in love with gossip and had a lot to say with the adults in the community. Play with three or four children for an hour or two after school every day before going home.
In addition, my daughter likes to doodle by herself very early. After an art class in kindergarten, she asked me to give her an art class. Although the above two examples are examples, they are also representative. People who have participated in early education have not improved their interpersonal skills and the potential of hobbies has not been developed. Those who don't attend early education can also overcome the obstacles of interpersonal communication and find their own hobbies. Especially later, I focused on efficient learning methods. When I was 6 years old, I took my daughter to study math in primary school for six years with ease. Three thousand years of Chinese literacy makes me feel that the significance of institutional early education is too limited.
In fact, children's personalities, interests, and even talents are basically innate, and little can be changed the day after tomorrow. Moreover, when children are too young, it may be meaningless to distinguish whether many phenomena are true or false. In addition, remember the changes the day after tomorrow. It should also be that after the child has a certain understanding ability as the foundation, parents can clearly assess the child's own situation, and then teach students in accordance with their aptitude, and use some methods suitable for children to carry out certain transformation and strengthen their own advantages. When they are one to two years old and can't see any problems with their children, they will be very confused. The key to how inefficient the development is and how time is wasted is to spend so much money, money and money.
