Jorges Luis Borges (1899-1986) is an Argentine poet, novelist and translator. 1923 published the first collection of poems and 1935 published the first collection of short stories, which established its position in the Argentine literary world. He was the director of the National Library of Argentina and a professor of philosophy and literature at the University of Buenos Aires. His important works include poetry anthology Passion in Buenos Aires, Jin Hu, Short Stories, Garden with Divergent Paths, Alef and so on.
