Recently, the 2022 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival and the 35th Golden Rooster Award for Chinese Film were held in Xiamen. That night, 20 awards, including best feature film, best foreign language film, best director, best actor and best actress, were announced one by one. Among them, the best feature film award that attracted much attention went to the battle of Changjin Lake, and the special award of the jury was awarded to the film Me and My Father.

Chen Kaige and Tsui Hark won the best director award for The Battle of Changjin Lake, and Liu won the best director debut award for The Events of Life. Actors Zhu Yilong and Xi Meijuan won the best actor and actress respectively, while Xin He and Qi won the best supporting actor and actress respectively. The best screenplay award was won by Shao, the screenwriter of Love Myth.

It is worth mentioning that Wang, Wang and Wang were awarded the honorary title of lifelong achievement film artist by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
