This is the library that will be seen.
In our habitual thinking, we always think that it is difficult to spend a lot of time in the library after leaving the ivory tower. Unexpectedly, when I was in college, I didn't love reading enough, and I didn't plan to take the postgraduate entrance examination. I go to the library once a week just to return and borrow books, or go to the study room of the library to blow air conditioning to avoid the cold or summer before the exam. But I got my present job after graduation, partly because of the need of work. In the past two or three years, I really can be regarded as a "bubble" in the library.

I think, for many people, this will probably be a slightly special and rare thing, so listen to me about my experience in the library after two or three years of work.

Long overdue.

Every library is related to the door time. In addition to legal holidays, there are usually half a day in a week, such as Friday afternoon, to do internal finishing work. If you just choose a time at random and accidentally bump into the closed door of the library, don't be depressed, because even an "old hand" like me will inevitably rush to the library several times, seeing few people, patting his head and regretting: "Oh, I forgot to close the library today." You can open the calendar and have a look. Just avoid this time next time.

I'm used to leaving for the library early in the morning, mainly because it's a long distance, and I think even if I can go four times a week sometimes, it's not easy every time. I can always get some comfort from going early and coming back late.

When the library first opened, there were not many people. I don't know if the focus of my observation is not right, or if I am right. I always feel that there are always more young readers than old people and children.

I always go to places where there are literary bookshelves, find a window seat, look at the scenery first, as if I have found the ownership of this day, and then turn over the books.

No matter whether it is cloudy, hot or light rain outside the window, the room separated by a window always keeps a constant temperature. If the sun shines outside, I need to move from time to time with the angle of the sunlight projecting into the room until I don't need to move again, and look at the buildings and green trees outside the window, and the day will soon be over.

When the library closing bell rings, in addition to the creaking sound of books on the shelves and the sound of readers' footsteps moving, it is inevitable that a librarian with a familiar voice will keep shouting: "Close the door, close the door!" " We were driven to the exit one by one like ducks.

Every time before everyone walks out of the messy bookshelves, the overhead lights will go out. If it is in a poorly lit library, it is like a group of zombies who have lost their language ability and are not flexible enough to move. The powerful terminator controls the direction of progress. Fortunately, as soon as we got out of the museum, we smelled the breeze, and everyone returned to the original variety.

About position

I have to say that in a city, the most suitable places for most readers are definitely provincial libraries and municipal libraries. Relatively speaking, there are more books, faster updates, perfect infrastructure, more obvious signs and more convenient locations. Take Changsha as an example. In addition to provincial and municipal maps, each district has its own library, some of which are not bad, and some are average.

If there is a library near home, for most readers, it is for recreation or recreation, because the library can meet your needs in most cases. Naturally, it is also a novel experience to go to another library from time to time to feel the brand-new environment.

Besides the public library, the place we often think of reading books should be the bookstore. Many cities have bookstores that pay more attention to readers' reading experience, either hidden in a corner of a big shopping mall or left on a small road. In addition to the spacious and comfortable bookshelf area, they also have a small coffee bar area. Order a cup of coffee or juice for twenty or thirty dollars, and you can stay in it for half a day with peace of mind. If there is no special purpose to read, reading in such a friendly bookstore is naturally more enjoyable than going to the library.

In fact, in addition to these two places, the university library is also a good place to go. When you walk on campus, classmates who ride bicycles or walk hand in hand pass by you, everyone takes you for granted as one of their classmates, although the feelings in your heart are actually different from those of yourself many years ago.

Most libraries have access restrictions, so if you want to go to the university library, I'm afraid you have to find out where the libraries that allow people to enter the library are. Even so, you can only read books, not borrow books.

Perhaps it is not necessary for many people to go to the university library to read books. After all, there were many opportunities in those years, but they didn't want to seize them. Indeed, I often go to the university library for a period of time, just for the convenience and novelty of its journey, and the endless faces of fresh meat.

About reading posture

Most public libraries will be equipped with enough seats, or even better, there may be a few soft spots. No matter how many readers there are, you can always find a place by squeezing a little. It doesn't hurt to go out to the toilet and have a drink. Just come back and change the seat.

When you meet some big libraries with less than 20 seats, thousands of people enter the library every day, so don't expect to sit in chairs and read books. Even if there is a lonely chair, reading with a book in both hands is manual work, because there is no corresponding table. Or, spread the book on your lap and look down. In less than half an hour, your whole neck will fall to your lower body.

Since we can't find a seat, let's stand for two or three hours first. When your legs are numb, find an unpopular reading area, whether it's a wooden floor or a concrete floor, and sit on the floor. This kind of place under your feet is also suitable for independent bookstores with a large number of people. If you accidentally block another reader's way, it doesn't matter. Move over with a smile.

About the types of books

Books in libraries are generally classified, which is especially strict in university libraries. Every book has an entry. As long as the library doesn't make a big arrangement, a book you read two years ago will be put somewhere, and then it will still be there.

Relatively speaking, large libraries that update faster have less strict requirements on the placement of books. You can always see the librarian holding a pile of books on this kind of bookshelf, leaving as much space as possible and filling up a large pile of books pushed from the book return desk.

This treatment not only saves management costs, but also brings surprises to readers-every time you pass by, you can find brand-new books.

Find the category of the book you are interested in, and your fingers wander between the spine of this book, which is a bit dazzling, but it doesn't prevent you from stopping to read for a while and pulling out a book when you see a surprise book.

Sometimes looking at so many books, I think if I want to teach myself a skill, I'm afraid a good student will gain something by studying for a while. But think about it, what do I love? Compared with others, I may prefer pure reading.

About daydreaming

At school, teachers can concentrate for 45 minutes, and classmates can watch the blackboard together, which can't stop you from being distracted from time to time. When I get to the library, although there are very silent people around me and books in their hands, my eyes can always be hooked by things other than black and white, such as strangers passing across the street, such as someone else's glass five meters away, such as the start of a car outside the window.

This is the world outside the book. I am studying, and I may always look up unconsciously because the surrounding environment is changing slightly. It is also possible that I was temporarily attracted by something, such as the tail ring pressed on the page, or the charming voice when someone around me answered the phone. I've read enough things outside these books before I can return to them.

Books are another world. When I saw some words, I looked up into the distance, and the scene in my pupil unconsciously fed back to my mind, but it was another daydream that occupied my mind.

About melancholy

In the eyes of many people, it is a good or even awe-inspiring thing to spend some time in the library, but sometimes I will sit on the concrete floor with my back against the iron bookshelf and look at the familiar scenery outside the window. The book in my hand is fixed on a certain page, with waves and melancholy.

In a sense, going to the library is part of the job, because reading with a purpose, even if you meet a book you like very much, can't let go of the stone "Is there an article suitable for our magazine", so the original fun of reading has been cut a lot. Not only I, but also every colleague of mine actually has such a problem.

For all book lovers, it is good to spend time reading, but for me, it may be because I have read too many books, so I feel less and less pleasure from them. To put it more cruelly, when you pick up a book, there is less excitement and surprise, and more deep breathing hidden in your heart.

About interesting things

To tell the truth, in the silent library, most people around you are walking quietly, and you can only experience the fun through very trivial things. For example, the person who happens to see the book returned is an old man who needs the help of his younger generation, such as a couple who suddenly stops in front of you and kisses two meters away.

For these details, I am always embarrassed to stare directly at the client or laugh, so I have to turn my eyes to the book and laugh wildly, as if I were amused by a plot in the book.

I can't help laughing twice for the plot that can make people laugh, and then take pictures with my mobile phone for the next laugh. Actually, it is more appropriate to say "funny" than "funny".

How many books I have read, I can get a glimpse of how many people have different life experiences and indirect inner world, and how many experiences and unexpected words I have never experienced can be presented on paper, which makes people smile and remember silently: next time I use these words to form such a vocabulary, it may make me look more interesting!

About the later experience

In the past two or three years, I have spent far more time in the library than others. Although I went to the library out of personal interest, I was a little tired. I think one of the important reasons is that no matter how interesting a thing looks, if you don't take part in it with a little purpose, it will be difficult for you to get what you can perceive, and the so-called happiness or joy will decrease with the increase of time and times.

There are many other people's worlds in the book, but the most important thing is my real world. For me, if I can, I would like to spend more time on things other than going to the library. But on the other hand, it is precisely because I can't experience lasting happiness from many things that I spend my time on the seemingly impeccable bubble bank. This is a paradox.

Nowadays, many times, I would rather stay at home than go to the library. I have given myself thousands of reasons: many books can be read electronically, so there is no need to spend time on the road; There is no restaurant near the library, so it is really troublesome to bring dry food every time. ...

A few times a month, I thought, hey, haven't been to the library for a long time? Considering that there was nothing else to do the next day, the plan to go to the library was put on the agenda again. As for the purpose of going to the library, nothing, just reading and relaxing, that's all.
