1, guizhou minzu university

Guizhou minzu university, affiliated to Guizhou Provincial People's Government, is one of the earliest universities for nationalities established in New China. It is a key university in Guizhou Province, a university jointly established by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, an excellent branch of the Ministry of Education for undergraduate teaching level evaluation, and a university for overseas students who receive scholarships from the China Municipal Government. It is supported by East China Normal University and South China University of Technology.

The school was founded in May 195 1 17, formerly known as Guizhou Institute for Nationalities, and was renamed guizhou minzu university with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Guizhou Provincial People's Government in October/February. Guizhou University of Finance and Economics is located in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. Guizhou Normal University is located in Wudang District, Guiyang City. It is a provincial public full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school was selected as a basic capacity building engineering university in the central and western regions. The school's predecessor was Guizhou Education College, which was founded in 1978. Approved by the Ministry of Education, it was transformed into a full-time undergraduate college in March 2009.
