Kunming Medical University is a provincial key university with three campuses: Chenggong (main campus), Renmin West Road and Zhengping, covering an area of 1.482 mu. Kunming Medical University, formerly known as the Medical Department of Donglu University, was founded in 1933. 1956 was set up independently and named Kunming Medical College.
