2. Introduction of Gansu Medical College
Gansu Medical College is a full-time medical undergraduate college with a long history and fine tradition. Its predecessor was Pingliang Health School in Gansu Province, which was founded in 1958. In 2003, it was upgraded to Pingliang Medical College, and in 20 15, it was upgraded to a medical undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education. The College is located at the eastern foot of the famous Kongtong Mountain, the first Taoist mountain in Zhong Ling, covering an area of 805 mu, with a construction area of 22 1.500 square meters and fixed assets of 560 million yuan. Pingliang Huangfu Mi Research Institute, Pingliang Kongtong Research Institute, Pingliang Kongtong Health and Culture Research Institute, Pingliang Huangfu Mi Longyao Research Institute and Gansu Medical College Chinese Medicine Research Center were established.
