Baiyin Experimental Middle School is located at No.6 Yucai Road and Chang 'an Road in Baiyin City. It is the only municipal demonstration middle school in Baiyin. The school was established in1September 1987, and started enrolling students in1June 1990. The school covers an area of 6 1336 square meters, with complete school conditions, including more than 3,000 square meters of teaching building, 0/800 square meters of experimental building, 2,000 square meters of Yifu complex building and 2,000 square meters of student dormitory building. There are 64 language laboratories, 56 computer laboratories and standard science, chemistry and biology laboratories. Library collection 10000 volumes, nearly 200 kinds of teaching newspapers and periodicals for teachers and students to read. The stadium with a 400-meter standard runway meets the extracurricular sports activities of teachers and students in the school. There are 39 classes, with more than 2,300 students and 0/55 faculty members, including 3 super teachers, 38 senior teachers and 50 first-class teachers. Since the establishment of the school/KLOC-0, advanced experimental middle schools have trained a large number of qualified talents for the country, and have sent more than 3,000 outstanding graduates to institutions of higher learning, many of whom have been admitted to famous universities such as Tsinghua, Peking University, Fudan University and Renmin University. In recent years, more than 600 calibration papers and more than 20 teaching monographs have been published in national, provincial and municipal journals for more than one key scientific research project 10 funded by national, provincial and municipal scientific research institutions.

In 2000, the school was awarded the title of "Baiyin Modern Education Experimental School" and in 200 1 year, it was awarded the title of "Spiritual Civilization Demonstration Unit" in Baiyin. In 2003, it successfully passed the acceptance of municipal demonstration high schools, and in 2005, it started the acceptance of provincial demonstration high schools.
