1, the sources of funds for the Alexandria Library will include:
(1) state funding.
(2) Aid, gifts, donations, bequests and international and foreign financial assistance.
(3) Income from lending documents to stabilize their own interests.
(four) labor income and investment income.
⑤ Other lawful income that may be allocated to the library.
2. Alexandria Library implements an independent budget, and the beginning and end of its fiscal year are consistent with the government budget year. The accounts of the library in the Central Bank of Egypt or commercial banks will be listed separately and approved by the Ministry of Finance. It deposits its various income sources and accounts in the bank. The remaining funds of each year will be carried forward to the next fiscal year.
3. Within the limits of its administrative use and demand, the Alexandria Library and its affiliated institutions will be exempted from the remaining public taxes and the current national activity tax, the membership fee tax for all registered readers of the library, and the tax on the import of scientific and technical documents.
4 1988 Presidential Decree No.523 established the mass organization of the Alexandria Library, which will still be valid. Everything has not violated this law until now, and the first president of the library ordered the fourth clause to take note of this and promulgated it. Therefore, all assets, rights and organizational obligations abolished will return to the Alexandria Library.
