Dunhuang College of Northwest Normal University was established in May of 20 14. Approved by the Education Department of Gansu Province, it is an affiliated college of colleges and universities jointly established by Northwest Normal University and Dunhuang Municipal People's Government, with full-time undergraduate education.

The college is located in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province, a famous international cultural tourism city, with Dunhuang Park in the west and Danghe River in the east. Now it covers an area of125mu (406mu of planned construction land), with a total construction area of 29,000m2.

It has teaching facilities such as teaching buildings, multimedia laboratories, libraries, outdoor stadiums and gymnasiums that meet the needs of modern teaching. Advanced teaching and research conditions, complete public service facilities and elegant campus environment.
