Is it difficult for private school librarians?
I checked the employment direction of pedagogy, and I can refer to the following article.

With the country's increasing attention to education and the continuous improvement of teachers' treatment, pedagogy specialty is gradually becoming a hot specialty. But in people's traditional thinking, the employment direction of pedagogy is mainly to go to school as a teacher. In fact, a considerable number of graduates majoring in education do not engage in teaching after graduation. There are basically six employment directions for pedagogy majors:

First, ordinary colleges and universities

This is the main destination of theoretical majors such as educational principles, educational history, higher education, comparative education and educational philosophy. But now it is more and more difficult for master students to enter colleges and universities, and basically they all require doctoral degrees. Therefore, graduate students who want to go in these directions should be prepared for doctoral studies if they want to go to colleges and universities.

Second, primary and secondary schools.

At present, the new curriculum reform of primary and secondary schools in China is booming, and talents with strong educational theory literacy are particularly lacking. Moreover, with the continuous improvement of the treatment of primary and secondary school teachers and the relative stability of teachers' occupation, more and more graduates of education majors, especially curriculum and teaching theory majors, began to enter primary and secondary schools. This year, hundreds of masters from a middle school in Nanjing competed for two positions.

Three. Special education institutions

This is the main employment direction of special education graduates. Special education majors mainly train senior professionals with knowledge and ability of general education and special education. After graduation, I mainly engaged in special education practice, theoretical research and management in special education institutions and institutions related to special education.

Fourth, publishing houses and newspapers.

Publishing houses and newspapers, especially those related to education, are also a major destination for education graduates, mainly engaged in the planning and editing of educational books.

Verb (abbreviation for verb) government unit

There are also some graduates who take the civil service examination and enter the education administrative unit after graduation, but rarely recruit civil servants majoring in education. Students who want to be civil servants can work hard, but they should be psychologically prepared, because the intensity of competition will exceed your imagination.

Sixth, the field of new technology education.

This is mainly the main destination of graduates majoring in educational technology. Engaged in the design, development, application, management and evaluation of teaching media and teaching system in the field of new technology education, including teaching educational technology courses in normal colleges and middle schools at all levels, and engaging in educational technicians and network education in audio-visual libraries, universities and general education at all levels.
