Experience of University Student Librarians' Work
After going to college, I often hang out in the library, because there are many books here, and there are many famous and unknown books for me to read. Being a librarian in the library was a complete accident. I have a good relationship with my counselor, because he also likes reading, and he is also the instructor of our school literature club. I joined the literature club when I was a freshman, and I was surprised for a long time to learn that the instructor was my counselor. I am very active in the literature department and often publish my own works to them. When I perform any drama, I also use my script. Therefore, I am familiar with the counselor and know that I like reading. One day he told me that the school library lacked a part-time student to manage books and asked me what I thought. Naturally, I readily agreed.

As a librarian, I can read books in the library at any time. There used to be a time limit for borrowing books, but I read slowly and still have classes every day. I can't stay in the library all day, I only have a little time at night. If I am a librarian, I can justifiably skip some unnecessary classes, which is also a credit. Reading can make me happier.

When I borrow books from other students, I often see some books that I have never seen before. I will put these names on my reading list. As a librarian, I have met many people. It can be said that books represent a person's personality. From the borrowing list, I can often tell a person's personality, because most of the books he borrows are of one type, simple and pure.

I always think reading is a very interesting thing. Every book is a story. I especially like reading some famous foreign novels. From the characters in these books, I feel a different world and different scenery. These are not my stories. Every book and every character has their own unique life. They are performing on their own stage, and I am the audience. Watching their performances, substituting themselves into their stories and imagining themselves performing on the stage are very touching.

The period of exams every semester is the busiest time for me and the most crowded time for the library. It was packed, and many people just sat on the ground reading and taking notes because there were no seats. I naturally want to review at this time, so I will put down my favorite novels for the time being. Fortunately, as a librarian, I know exactly what and where the professional books I have studied. So I can take a lot of detours less, which is also a small "derailment". But more, because I will read these related books before. Every day after class, I will find the corresponding books and then learn to consolidate my knowledge.

I am very grateful to my counselor. If he hadn't given me this opportunity, I don't think my college life would be so colorful, and I wouldn't have such a good opportunity to enjoy books at will.
