Southwest National Vocal Music Technical College, referred to as Southwest Vocational College, is located in Xingyi, the capital of Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwest Guizhou. It is a full-time public vocational college approved by Guizhou Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. On June 5438+0, 2004, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, Qianxinan Ethnic Vocational and Technical College was formed by the merger of five middle schools: Qianxinan Agricultural School, Hydropower School, Agricultural Mechanization School, Finance and Trade School and Health School.
