René Fran? ois was born in Lesina, Ino Province, the eldest son of Leopold Magritte, the father of a tailor, and his mother was a milliner. I moved a lot when I was a child, and began to learn painting at the age of 10. 19 12 years, my mother committed suicide by throwing herself into the river (sambur river) for unknown reasons.
When he was young, he studied at the Royal Belgian Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels for two years. 19 18 responsible for pattern design in wallpaper factory after graduation.
