Wenzhou University Library includes Yu Ying Library in the south campus and Shaw Library in the north campus, and Yu Ying Library is the central library. Yu Ying Library was built in 2003, covering an area of 67,000 square meters and a building area of 37,500 square meters. Located in the center of Chashan Higher Education Park, covering all universities and surrounding communities in the park. It is the largest library in southern Zhejiang, northern Fujian and eastern Jiangxi.

Yu Ying Library is magnificent, with a total height of seven floors. The top two floors are bell tower structure buildings, and offices, resource construction departments, information service departments, document service departments, reader service departments and technical service departments are distributed on the first to fifth floors.

Three circulating stacks and one intensive stack provide powerful literature resources for the teaching and scientific research activities of all teachers and students. Professional reading rooms, art reading rooms, ancient books reading rooms, social science reading rooms and electronic reading rooms create a good learning environment to serve readers. Each floor has a self-study area, and the whole library self-study area has 2 100 seats. There is a restaurant on the basement of the museum.

The "Mingxinge" on the fourth floor is a new space created by the library around functional transformation and service innovation. It is a beautiful and warm space environment for reading, learning and discussion, and a space platform suitable for various academic exhibitions and exchanges. Her quiet desk lamp area, leisure reading area, exchange seminar area, remote video conference room and tea room provide a more humane and comfortable learning environment for teachers and students.

On the basis of ensuring the traditional lending service, the library introduces platforms such as discovery service, statistical analysis of digital resources, library entrance education and reservation service, and constructs a hierarchical and classified information literacy training system to promote the utilization of users' literature resources and improve their information literacy.

Expand subject service fields such as subject evaluation and document verification, provide relevant data such as degree declaration and professional certification, provide information support for school development decision, and increase intelligent equipment such as self-service book lending and returning machine, e-book lending and returning machine, reading kiosk, electronic culture wall, self-service reading bookcase and electronic storage cabinet, so as to improve the level of intelligent service to a certain extent.
