Among them, Huidong Library is the central library, which mainly collects science and engineering documents and implements the unified access control management mode of "storing, borrowing, reading, consulting and researching". The collection of Huangling Museum is mainly based on basic documents; The collection of Yingpan Museum is mainly management literature, political science and law literature and art literature. In addition, the school also has 13 department reference room. In line with the tenet of "readers first, service first", in recent years, the library has made considerable achievements in management means and the level of automation and network service.

The library has formulated a scientific and reasonable business assessment mechanism, which has laid the foundation for the standardization of business work. An advanced automation platform is built. Relying on the campus network, the interconnection between Huidong, Yingpan and Huangling branch libraries and the connection with the external Internet are realized through 1000M optical fiber, and the firewall technology is adopted to ensure the high-speed smooth, safe and reliable network among the three campus libraries. Since 1993, the library has gradually realized computer integrated management. After more than ten years' development, an advanced automatic management system with large relational database as the core has been established, which has realized the automation and networking of book acquisition, cataloging, collection, circulation, periodicals and readers' inquiry. The museum has 7 dedicated servers, more than 500 computers of various models and 4 sets of disk array systems, with a storage capacity of 15T. There are 736 information nodes in the museum, and the wireless Internet coverage area is 16000M2. The library has established an open, powerful and rich website by using advanced network technology, equipment and software, and the library's webpage is open 24 hours a day. It integrates the functions of public catalog retrieval, local mirror image and remote database retrieval, online renewal, reservation, online consultation, dynamic release of resource information, announcement of new books, online book recommendation, virtual consultation, information inquiry for readers, online cataloging, subject navigation, sci-tech novelty retrieval, document delivery and characteristic database. In March 2005, our library was awarded "Excellent Evaluation of Automation and Networking of University Libraries in Sichuan Province" by Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. In 2007, the number of visits to electronic resources exceeded 6.5438+0.2 million, which has become the main resource platform for readers in our college to obtain physical information, virtual information and library services. The library implements open-shelf book resource lending service for all teachers and students, establishes new book distribution system and interlibrary loan and return system, and implements interlibrary loan and return system. The service window is open for 96 hours every week. In subject consultation and information service, the ability and quality of information service have been improved in an all-round way, and the information service for readers has developed in depth. Provide readers with consulting services such as thematic retrieval and project novelty retrieval.
