Handan Library was founded in the mid-1950s, and its predecessor was the Cultural Center Library. June 1978 was named Handan Library. 1982 moved to No.98 Renmin Road, with a construction area of over 6,000 square meters. In July 2009, the original site was demolished. On September 9th of the same year, the construction of the new municipal library was officially started, and it was officially completed in February 20th13rd.
