(1)ACRL standard. In 2000, the American Association of Universities and Libraries (AC-RL) promulgated the Index System of Information Literacy Ability of American Universities, which includes 5 first-level indicators, 22 second-level indicators and 86 specific third-level indicators. (2) Anzil standard. In 2004, the Joint Working Group on Information Literacy of Australian and New Zealand Universities (ANZIIL) promulgated the information literacy capability index system of Australian and New Zealand universities, which consists of 6 first-level indicators, 19 second-level indicators and 67 third-level indicators.
(3) The standards are consistent. The information literacy capability model proposed by SCONUL in the UK in 1998 is not an index system in name, but actually an index system of information literacy capability in colleges and universities, which consists of seven first-level indicators and 17 second-level indicators.
